Digital material | HACK THE MAP: Rigas’ Charta

Educational materials for participating in the National Student Competition of Digital Works about the Charta of Rigas Velestinlis.

The Onassis Foundation and Onassis Library have put together educational materials to support all teams participating in the National Student Competition “Hack the Map: Rigas’ Charta”. Students and teachers get ready to discover stories, information, and symbolisms for one of the most important historical maps of Greece. Enter the educational supporting platform of the competition today!

In the context of the National Student Competition, educational digital material is offered online, open access, in order to support students and teachers, and to encourage participation in the competition. Getting to know Rigas’ Charta by using creative ways, students and their teachers will familiarize themselves with the symbolisms, history, geography, and new technologies. They will be invited to implement digital works, giving life into one of the most important documents of cartography of the pre-revolutionary period in Greece.
