Hospitals, tests, heart ultrasound, but also waiting among strangers dressed in white or blue uniforms can cause acute stress and reactions to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), transforming even a simple check-up into an unpleasant experience.

And yet through basic information, these people – who look after our health – can contribute decisively in making hospital visits a pleasant experience for individuals with ASD and for those escorting them. This webinar was created for medical and nursing staff, as well as mental health professionals. In a simple and scientific manner, it aims to familiarize them with the world of autism, offering advice and guidance in order to deal with them effectively and smoothly. Your input to the lives of individuals with ASD is valuable.
