Onassis Stegi Outward Turn Program

Our mission through Onassis Stegi's “Outward Turn” program is to strengthen the presence and status of artists in every corner of the world, and at the same time forge innovative networks tightly intertwined with the nexus of the international scene, with and for the artists. In practice, this is achieved with the coordination of international travels, as well as performances across Greece, for the Onassis Stegi productions; the realization of co-productions in collaboration with cultural organizations across the world; the participation in international artistic networks; and the enhancement at large of the artists' interpersonal contacts with international programmers. The program offers its support to productions of artists who live and create in Greece primarily and on the condition that they have been included in the programming of the Onassis Stegi.

In the last decade, more than 100 Onassis Stegi productions have been celebrated across hundreds of performances hosted by cultural venues all over the world, with the support of the “Outward Turn” program of the Onassis Stegi. The program is steadily tailored to each production and offers financial, technical, and organizational input provided by expertized staffs, as well as promoting the work of artists to international fora through the production of high-quality communication material.
