100.000+ Thank you to Ioannina

From day one, Plásmata embraced Ioannina.

For three weeks, people from all over the world visited the “Plásmata ΙΙ: Ioannina” exhibition, joined 9 workshops and educational programs, participated in 27 discussions, danced to the rhythm of dozens of Greek DJs and international music producers at the 65 music events of Movement Radio, and, through hundreds of organized guided tours, followed the almost 2 kilometers of the lakeside route of Ioannina where the 29 spots of the exhibition unfolded.

People from Ioannina became Plásmata themselves.

More than 50 people who hail from, live, work, or study in Ioannina became part of the experience and the Plásmata team, guiding, catering, giving information or instructions, helping, and—above all—offering their smile at the more than 100,000 visitors of the exhibition.

Organizations, businesses, and professionals became part of the experience.

The Region of Epirus, the Municipality of Ioannina, the University of Ioannina, the sponsors, supporters, businesses, employees, taxi drivers, restaurants, hotels, cafés, and bars opened their doors, shared their city, and hosted Plásmata and those who transformed into one for a little while.

And finally, they offered Plásmata the opportunity to travel everywhere.

We exceeded 3,5 million views on our social media. We received more than 100,000 hearts and likes, many thousands of shares, and unforgettable moving comments. “Plásmata ΙΙ: Ioannina” leaves Ioannina with a feeling of gratitude, countless new friends, and a promise to the city we loved and that loved us.
