Duration

The Webinar consists of three online sessions. Each one is one hour and thirty minutes long.

For new parents who are learning from their child or wish to learn more about parenting. A series of online meetings based on the principle of positive parenting, it is addressed to all parents trying to develop parenting skills through play, positive reinforcement, and «don’ts».

Parenting is a full-time job: it is undoubtedly fulfilling but at the same time exhausting. Being a parent is considered to be one of the most demanding roles of adult life. Parents and children develop their skills at the same time. How can parents have a positive effect at the development of their child, develop their own skills, but also those of their child?

In three online meetings, participants will be introduced to the notion of positive parenting as a model of children’s education. The following themes will be discussed: changes in the brain of new parents; the importance of the first months in the life of an infant; what skills to expect at different ages; the notion of discipline and reward. During the webinar parents will also be given examples and advice as well as educational material, aiming to support them so that they can have a positive impact on the emotional and social development of their child.
