A production in which circus, dance and music plunge the viewer into a dreamworld that will win them over heart and soul.

James Thiérrée shares his singular artistic universe with the audience through a strange reconstruction of the human condition; conjuring up marvelous images on stage, he provides an antidote to trying times.
The tale of a disappointed and spoilt king who is tired of the system he presides over, but whose subjects will not let him abdicate, plays out on a spectacular set in which a stage mechanism multiplies space via an array of perpetually mobile mirrors. The ‘Shakespearean’ king is surrounded by dancers and acrobats locked into a ritual intended to cast despair out of their small community as it seeks to envision a future.
The originator of a theatrical genre which combines circus, burlesque, dance, music and spectacular sets, the productions Thiérrée creates are much-anticipated culture events. As charismatic as ever on stage, Thiérrée directs another production of exceptional visual power which will leave his fans, young and old, lost for words.
