What would Big Brother be like if it were directed by Andy Warhol? Probably something very like “Before Your Very Eyes”: a group of children and adolescents shut up in a glass room straddling time and peering into their past and future, envisioning their own deaths.

Seven children ‘growing up’ before our astonished eyes—ours and theirs; seven lives being lived in fast forward in this unique production from the avant-garde group Gob Squad and the arts center CAMPO which unsettles and moves audiences wherever it is performed.

Gob Squad first met the children in early 2009. The texts were developed during improvisation and in collaboration with the performers, with some passages adapted from Woody Allen's "Husbands and Wives" and Charlie Kaufman's "Synecdoche New York".
