The Onassis Stegi Upper Stage or its ‘online’ stage will be at your disposal at least for one day. Under the guidance of an artistic duo, you will present your own ideas. There is no agenda; and there is not one and suitable for all approach in education. Artistic expression becomes a vehicle to break up the norms. You tell us what you would like to say, and we offer you whatever is needed in order to accomplish it. And this is just the beginning.

Teens aged 13 to 17 who took part in the first phase of the program, along with newcomers, share their knowledge and experience, express their feelings, and communicate with each other hrough artistic practices. Pass the Mic workshops create a space of mutual understanding and sharing, where dialog is at the center of the creative process.

For three days, between September 16 and 18, 2021, the international research center of contemporary performing practices Centrale Fies in Italy hosted the outcomes of the workshops first phase which took place online, during past summer.

Ermira Goro and Theo Prodromidis, through their ongoing dialog and interaction with the teenagers, conceived, created, and presented the performance “supernatural,” performed by Jessica Onyiyechi Anosike. The second artistic duo, comprised of Fotini Gouseti and Alexandros Magd Asaad, presented the photographic installation "The address of all sidewalks... " – with its title inspired by the lyrics of a Nizar Qabbani’s poem integrated in the work. Currently, the duo is working on a mural, full of symbols inspired by their interaction with the group of teenagers they collaborated during the first phase of the residencies.

At the second phase of the program, the teenagers, split in two groups, will be the ones who will create under the guidance of the artistic duos and present their own works in an open event in January 2022.
