Introduction

Learn step-by-step how to create an e-book, and transform yesterday’s books with today’s technologies. A workshop that gives the rare editions in the Onassis Library an e-book makeover.

In an age in which electronic editions are multiplying and being enriched by new interactive material, you too can become the digital publisher of your favorite book.

In this workshop, you and your classmates will choose a book from the Onassis Library’s digital archive and learn secret electronic tools and programs that will help you transform it into an e-book.

You’ll get the chance to add sound files, documents, and links to websites and digital platforms to the book you choose, adding to your edition whatever you think the first edition might be missing.
