How do you maintain paper treasures forever? Books, letters, and maps that changed History and the world will reveal the secrets of eternal life in a workshop devoted to “rescue.”
Not all treasures are made of gold and precious stones. At the Onassis Library and other libraries around the world, books, maps, documents, and other archival material that are hundreds of years old are protected and maintained—and they hold within them the history and stories of the world.
In this workshop, you too will become a “rescuer” of books and archives. Through interactive presentations and games, you’ll learn what helps and hurts paper, so as to create protective structures that will let your favorite paper objects conquer time.
