Arm yourself with cameras and sound recording devices and create your own imaginary city through the real-life stories of its inhabitants, uniting Beirut and Athens in the process.

Film and record the memories of people from Athens’ Lebanese community and create a new map of the city which will come alive with your film, sound and 360 video recordings.
By directing a documentary about a city which only exists in their memories, you will draw the inhabitants of the two cities closer together and bring the areas they describe to life using Athens as a stage set.
A workshop inspired, like Italo Calvino's “Invisible Cities”, by mythic places, which connects experimental cinema with documentary film making to create an imaginary city that links Athens and Beirut.
The workshop will end with a screening of the work created in the two film workshops: “City Symphony” and “My Beirut”.
