The greatest moments in History have not yet been written. Start your own revolution, get on stage, and create a festival that expresses you. The Upper Stage of Onassis Stegi is all yours.

Future is more than a word. It’s the young people who jump on stage, in an effort to release their powers and strongly express what they feel. You see, in Onassis Youth Festival 2020, teenagers don’t get censored.

The festival, where teenagers take center stage, is back this year, to get you travel back in time and back to everything that is now part of History.

How do decisions we take today have an impact on the future? How do we recount a story? To whom, how, and why do we narrate? Through an official account of History, but also through its alternative versions, you will reflect on the way in which you understand contemporary society, or endorse the narration of an individual or a collective experience, so as to transform it. Step onto the Upper Stage of the Onassis Stegi and create something new. A manifesto that can stay alive for the next 200 years.

Drawing inspiration from contemporary and hybrid forms of writing, testing the boundaries between reality and fiction, and discovering new territories and ways of writing, this festival will transform with you. It’s now time to jump onto the stage and take the future in your own hands – exactly as you want it.
