Learn how you too can help children, teens, and adults with autism handle hospital visits in positive ways. Become one of those professionals who methodically turn the stress and fuss of medical check-ups into a positive experience, transforming the quality of life of persons with autism spectrum disorder in the process.

A visit to hospital can be a trying challenge for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Children, teens, and adults –along with their families– often face major difficulties when undertaking even the simplest and most routine of medical checks.

This effective educational program is being continued in order to train professionals in the use of its learning materials, and in the creation of personalized social stories and individually tailored practical guidance and steps that will help persons with ASD, of all ages, to visit the doctor for a heart check-up.

How can we best handle new and unfamiliar spaces? The waiting and the medical equipment, or being touched by the doctors and nurses? Get the answers and advice you need in order to help persons with ASD and their companions to properly and methodically prepare for their visit to the hospital. In this way, help turn a stressful process into a positive experience, and improve their quality of life.
