Three open, candid, up-to-the-minute, and science-led online discussions about gender identity, gender expression, and gender characteristics. Gender is a box we’re all put in from infancy. Who will we love? What will we wear and play with? What is it we like? Taboos and oppression, trauma and sufferance, within families and at school too. Or could it all be different?

Are we born or made?
What have I done wrong? Will my child be happy?
What about school?

Visit the Onassis Channel on YouΤube or onassis.org to watch three educational episodes seeking to raise awareness and familiarize viewers with concepts and realities that define our lives. Fears, worries about handling things right, “difficult questions,” insecurities when it comes to dealing with your team or class or family – you’ll find answers to all these things here.

This is a discussion Onassis Stegi started having years ago. One sparked by the “I’m Positive” initiative, which seeks to raise awareness and combat stigma in all its forms. We stand with children, with their parents and teachers, and are working to ensure respect is shown for self-identification. We support all those calling for schools “open to all children” and free from all discrimination.

Parents and teachers, join this informative, awareness-raising discussion that just might change the world for a child – even for just one, it’s worth it.
