The Japanese avant-garde writer, director and visual artist returns to the Onassis Stegi with his new performance, that he describes as “music theater with ghosts”.

Two years after Toshiki Okada’s "Hot Pepper, Air Conditioner and the Farewell Speech" exploded onto the Onassis Stegi stage, the Japanese avant-garde writer, director and visual artist returns to the Onassis Stegi with his new performance "Ground and Floor", that he describes as “music theater with ghosts”.

Shocked by the change of Japanese society after the Fukushima tragedy, Toshiki Okada and his exceptional Chelfitsch company join forces with the post-rock band Sangatsu to present an archetypal and revolutionary allegory of a Japan —and a human race— that has disquietingly come to terms with its own destruction.
