Introduction

Intellectuals and experts from Greece and abroad take us on a guided tour around the school of tomorrow, as they imagine it or as they hope it will be.

Are schools a conservative institution inherently unreceptive to change, or can they be flexible enough to adapt to constantly changing conditions? Can the educational system become more practical and cover our young people’s vocational needs while also giving them a broader general education? Can we think of new fields of knowledge to which the current system allocates little or no time? Can the school of tomorrow reduce the inequalities that currently beset access to knowledge? Intellectuals and experts from Greece and abroad take us on a guided tour around the school of tomorrow, as they imagine it or as they hope it will be.
