The Onassis Foundation and Uni.Fund organize a series of webinars about the support of Tech Transfer in Greek Universities and Research Centers. The first webinar, titled “Building a Successful TTO: Structure, Human Capital, Responsibilities and Resources,” delves into matters of structure, human capital, and function of a Technology Transfer Office (TTO).
Building A Successful TTO: Structure, Human Capital, Responsibilities And Resources
In the first part of the webinar, examples of successful TTOs and best practices from the international field will be presented by Dr. Shulamit Hirsch, IP Consultant & Leading IP Strategist, WIPA, Head of Intellectual Property, Technion R&D Foundation, Israel, and Prof. Hamit Serbest, President of the Board of ÜSIMP, Turkey.
In the second part of the workshop, Mrs. Sofia Tsakiri, Member of the Sectorial Scientific Council of Tech Transfer & Intellectual Property, National Council for Research, Technology & Innovation, will refer to the framework of the proposals currently processed by NCRI regarding the structure and function of Greek TTOs.
The presentation will be followed by a discussion on the Universities and Research Centers’ Preparation for the Forthcoming Calls for the Establishment and Support of TTOs.
