What does the future have in store for Technology Transfer in Greece? How can Technology Transfer Structures become truly sustainable, and how do we see them evolve in their new phase of operation?

What do we expect from the next Sectoral Scientific Council (SSC), and what role can Intellectual Property play in supporting innovation in the Greek research ecosystem? As innovation support and management infrastructures mature and become increasingly targeted, it is necessary to collectively look at how we can enable the maximization of their effectiveness and value to society and the economy. The Onassis Foundation, continuing and expanding its actions to support innovation, and in collaboration with both Uni.fund and Technology Transfer Structures, presents the 4th Workshop in the series “Commercial Uses of Research and Technology Transfer” on the future of Technology Transfer Offices and Structures in Greece. At a time when discussions about development and its social value revolve around issues of digital and research autonomy and sustainability, debate on the future of Technology Transfer Structures becomes fundamental both in relation to the kind of entrepreneurship and the kind of society we are attempting to create.
