With the simplest possible words and through the “Orgamites” characters, primary school children get to learn their body, but also the way in which organ donation changes the world.
What are humans made of? Which organs of your body do you already know? How do you protect your own health? How can a doctor substitute an organ that fails to work, with another organ?
This set of difficult questions turns into effortless storytelling, through the “Orgamites” characters, which were specifically designed for kids and for the Health Education course of the Hellenic Ministry of Health. The notions of transplantation, health, but also organ donation, become umbrella themes, in a discussion that opens up while engaging each and every one of us, regardless of our age.In primary school classrooms, a hope rises that increasingly more people can learn stories about organ donation and share them with their loved ones; a hope that as many people as possible can become donors.
