The material gifts 65+

Magic happens when you bring a material to life. When you know how to handle it, mould it and give it new substance by creating a household object or a work of art.

In this workshop, experienced craftsmen help us walk in their shoes, some even invite us into their own workshops to introduce us to their craft so that we can become familiar with some materials, their qualities, tools and various techniques and processes.

Then, inspired by the works of visual artists who have used these materials, we will make our own artworks or household objects.

Each workshop is independent, it is completed in four weekly sessions, and it deals with a different material, starting with an introduction and culminating in production.
