Introduction
What’s your dream? How much are you weighed down by all those ‘musts’? Onassis Foundation Scholars come to your classroom to share the myths and truths of professional life.
How different is a trial you see on TV compared to the real thing? How do ballet dancers manage to defy gravity? How do Greek and foreign companies deal with current challenges? How does an entire orchestra manage to ‘stay on the same page’? How can a doctor innovate in the field of scientific research? How is a feature film made?
Professionals who saw their dreams come true come to your classroom to give you their views on the job market, answer your genuine questions and help you get into their shoes for a bit; would you like to become a government minister in an EU member state for a day, or become an archaeologist, or paint with the help of an artbot?
The educational programme “Join us!” is an initiative by the Onassis Foundation Scholars’ Association, aiming to inform and inspire you about your professional prospects and choices, through a series of lectures, experiential workshops and audiovisual materials; in short, aiming to help you find what it is that you love doing, and chase your dream.
