Raphael Chatelain
Raphael Chatelain is a director, photographer, and activist. With a strong focus on LGBTQ+ themes and identities, his work delves into the political and humanitarian aspects surrounding the subjects and communities he portrays. His photographs and videos have been published in Interview Magazine, The Advocate, Rolling Stone, Wallpaper*, and King Kong Magazine, among other publications. His video “Down” was screened at the official competition section at Outfest 2017. His photo reporting on caravan migrants is part of the exhibition “50+,” exploring the subjects of identity and migration in relation to the evolution of LGBTQ+ rights over the past 50 years.
