Dimitris Daskas is an actor and director, graduate of the “Embros” theater drama school.

His most recent collaboration in Greece was in “Uncle Vanya,” directed by Maria Magkanari. He has worked, among others, with Dimitris Mavrikios, Lefteris Voyatzis, Efi Theodorou, Vangelis Theodoropoulos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Vangelis Chatzinikolaou, Niketi Kontouri, Pantelis Makkas, Grigoris Hatzakis, Anestis Azas, and Martha Bouziouri, in productions presented at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, the National Theater of Greece, the Greek National Opera, Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall etc.

In France, he first appeared at Botho Strauß’s “Ithaka,” staged by Jean-Louis Martinelli at Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers. He then co-wrote and co-directed the production of “Pays Natal.” Dimitris participated in the collective work “Mataroa,” at Théâtre du Soleil, as well as in performances at Centre Pompidou. He also appeared at Théâtre de la Ville, and played at Nadir Moknèche’s film “Lola Pater,” featuring Fanny Ardant.

Dimitris has authored (in Greek) the theater plays “Love Is a Heavy Burden,” “Children’s Room,” and “Stigmata” along with Thaleia Griva.
