Antigoni Kapaka
Antigoni Kapaka is a director and producer from Athens, Greece. She holds a BFA in filmmaking from CalArts and has over seven years of experience in the fields of cinema and media in Europe and the US. In 2019, she produced the independent film “South Central Love” (80 min, USA), and in 2018, she directed “Mati 23/7,” an awarded short documentary on the environmental disasters and the socioeconomic crisis in Greece. Since then, Antigoni has worked as a producer and assistant director on many projects around Greece. Her most recent short film as writer and director, “A Piece of Liberty,” was selected and funded by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Greek Film Center.
