Zacharias Mavroeidis (2020 Iris Award, Best Screenplay, for the film “Defunct”) has selected "Correction" by Thanos Anastopoulos as one of the Greek films that have inspired his work. The screening is part of the initiative "Open Cinema", a collaboration between Onassis Culture and the Hellenic Film Academy.

Synopsis

Aman gets out of prison. Like a modern Ulysses, he will undertake a homeless journey into a contemporary,mutilated Athens. On his way, he will meet a woman and a little girl.Are the three of them members of a broken family or just victimizers and victims of a violent and conflict-ridden society that prevents them from living together?
