Stories: You read them as you flip through the pages, you recount them, you listen to them – it’s now time to make videos out of them, so that you can powerfully share them inside and outside the classroom.
Technology has gone through changes, and this fact affects the media in which each message and story comes into existence and finds a recipient. Today and more than ever, short videos have conquered the world of social media, art, and communication, while they can be further used as a tool to inspire team work in the educational process.
In this workshop, you can get in touch with the value and techniques of digital storytelling in conveying personal narratives in simple steps; you will do so through different applications in a creative and educational context, which will allow you to touch your audience, both inside and beyond the classroom.
Different population groups, themes and aims, next to notions such as gender and immigration are presented so as to evoke their utilization, trigger your inspiration, and urge you to create your own digital stor – a process that can strengthen your educational work.
