Little Red Riding Hood - The First Blood by Lena Kitsopoulou

Making her Onassis Stegi debut, the ever unpredictable Lena Kitsopoulou adds the subtitle “First Blood” (after "Rambo: First Blood", the American film with Sylvester Stallone) to the well-known story. In so doing, she subverts both, exhorting viewers to get over fairy stories in general and accept the ‘evil’ within them. “No one ever lived happily ever after”, she explains as she challenges us to embrace her grown up heroine in this unique piece of contemporary Greek theater. The performance was presented 14.05-02.06.2014 at the Onassis Stegi Upper Stage.
