Panayotis Touliatos

BIO

Panayotis Touliatos (b. 1949, Bujumbura, Burundi) served as Honorary General Consul of Greece in Monaco from 1993 to 2017. After completing his secondary education at Athens’ Varvakio School, he pursued his studies at the Law School, University of Athens, and the University of Law, Economics and Social Sciences, Paris II, graduating with a certificate at criminal law. He worked at the public relations of Olympic Airways Paris, and then as private secretary to the late Aristotle Onassis in Paris (1973-75); legal counsel for Olympic Maritime S.A.’s Onassis Group head office in Monte-Carlo (1975-89) and its Deputy Director (1983-89); director and official agent of Olympic Shipping and Management S.A. (1989-94); director of Olympic Maritime S.A. in Paris (1979-92); and deputy administrator and legal counsel for Ceres Monaco S.A.M. (head office of Peter G. Livanos). Since 2010 he is counsel to the Petalas group, and executive director of Epicure SCP, and since December 2019 deputy administrator and advisor of PFO Monaco SAM (Petalas Family Office).

Panayotis Touliatos has served as committee member of Monaco Maritime Arbitral Chamber; member of Monaco Yacht Club; founder, committee member, Secretary-General and Appointed Honorary Member of the ACHM (Association of Honorary Consuls of the Principality of Monaco); and committee member of the FICAC (International Federation of Consular Bodies and Associations).

His distinctions include Holder of the Mark the Apostle and Evangelist Cross, Patriarchy of Alexandria (awarded by H.H. the Patriarch Parthenios III, 1995), and Dignitary (Archon) of the Ecumenical Patriarchy of Constantinople (awarded by H.H. the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, 2012). He has been awarded the Long Service Award by Rainier III of Monaco (1996) and named Chevalier of the Order of Saint Charles by Rainier III of Monaco (1997), and Officer of the Order of Saint Charles by Albert II of Monaco (2007).
