Artist Kristin Lucas intervenes in systems and paradigms to experiment with storytelling and new ways of being in a changing world.
Her circuitous works resonate with humor, play, and philosophical ponderings. She has been featured in “Art in America,” “Engadget,” and “Hyperallergic,” and her work has been presented nationally and internationally. Lucas is represented by And/Or Gallery and Postmasters.
Her videos are distributed by Electronic Arts Intermix; her immersive work appears on Radiance VR international research platform. Lucas earned degrees in art from Cooper Union and Stanford University. She serves as art faculty at University of Texas at Austin.
