Jean Paul Olive
Jean Paul Olive is a professor in the Music department at the University of Paris-VIII, where he teaches musical aesthetics and analysis.
His publications include “Alban Berg”, “le tissage et le sens”, “Musique et montage – Essai sur le matériau musical au début du XXe siècle”, “Un son désenchanté – Musique et théorie critique”, “Prose musicale et geste instrumental – Les Bagatelles pour quatuor à cordes d’Anton Webern”.
He is the founding editor of the “Art 8” series (L’ Harmattan Editions) and co-director of the musicological journal “Filigrane”.
