Georgios Mizithras (MIZI)

Georgios Mizithras (aka MIZI) is a musician, sound artist, and creative programmer. He is active both as a composer and a performer in a range of fields, including acousmatic music, improvisation, sound art, music for performing arts, audiovisual installations, and radio art. His current interest lies in media archaeology as a theoretical framework for sound art, and more specifically in the reappropriation of playback and transmission media as devices of artistic expression.
He’s part of KEDiMouRa Collective and the experimental music ensemble Trigger Happy. He’s a curator and producer of the radio art internet platform loskop.radio. He’s a PhD student at the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University.
