Sound pushed to its limits for a seventh consecutive year at the Onassis Stegi and beyond—subversive performances and projects in search of new forms of expression and sound production.
For the seventh year in a row, the Borderline Festival invites us to experience sound beyond everything we take as given in music. Focusing on the more adventurous zones of musical experimentation and electronic sound, the festival and its guest artists from around the world transcend the sometimes fuzzy lines demarcating silence from noise, composition from improvisation, and meditation from dance. All of this through concerts, installations, lectures and site-specific actions at the Onassis Stegi and other venues around Athens.
