Françoise Graziani
Françoise Graziani, Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Corsica and Research Director at the University of Paris-VIII (Literature, History, Aesthetics) is the holder of the Paul Valéry Mediterranean Chair at the University of Corsica and co-director of the international Polymnia network, which researches mythological traditions, and of the “Mythographes” series of publications (Lille, Presses Universitaires du Septentrion).
In addition, she has been involved with the research into musical interpretation conducted by the Euridice group since 1999, and has organized a host of interdisciplinary colloquia including “The Mediterranean madrigal: between folk traditions and art music” (Corte, 2013).
She has published widely on the relationship between the arts (and especially between poetry and music), the dissemination of ancient myths during the Renaissance, the history of ideas, intercultural exchange, poetry and translation.
