Divine Garland
Divine Garland is a freelance artist who began his performance training at The Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts, where he studied musical theater and dance. He received his BFA in Dance Performance in May of 2019 from Montclair State University (MSU). He has performed works by Frederick Earl Mosley, Bill T. Jones, Shapiro and Smith, Maxine Steinman, and Christian von Howard. Although he pursued dance in college, Divine worked closely with Epic Theatre Ensemble on various projects, such as “Caged Bird,” an original play produced by Epic Theatre Ensemble, and other original works, including “Untitled,” a solo work about acceptance, mentored by Nilaja Sun.
