Aggeliki Papoulia, Christos Passalis, and Giorgos Valais co-founded Blitz theater group in 2004, – a theater group that gained recognition in Europe for its avant-garde, “devised” approach to theater performance. Blitz were nominated for the 13th Europe Theater Prize “New Theatrical Realities,” in 2012. To this day, the three co-counders have co-written, co-directed and played in all the group’s performances. They have presented their work in numerous festivals, in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and, naturally, Greece.
