Anastasia Sima

Anastasia Sima’s first short film, “Athina-Stockholm” (2019), has been awarded at five international film festivals up to now.

"Antivirus" was shot entirely on a mobile phone, during the lockdown in spring of 2020.

After winning the Audience Award at the 43rd Drama International Film Festival, and premiering at the PÖFF Short Film Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, “Antivirus” was selected for the ΙRIS Awards 2021 (Hellenic Film Academy), and nominated for the Jury Αward at the 29th Pan African Film Festival (Academy Award Qualifying) in Los Angeles.

Her next short film, a documentary which is in post-production, deals with sessions between a psychiatrist and a patient at a public hospital.
