WHAT ARE ORGANMEETINGS ALL ABOUT?
It is a new awareness raising program, offering webinars for adults that was launched in March 2023. The webinars will be held three times a year and is built on the first comprehensive guide developed in Greece for organ donation and transplantation. The webinars are hosted by specialized representatives of the Hellenic Transplant Organization to address doubts, give answers and provide proper information to citizens. Because organ donation is an issue that concerns us all.
The webinars are addressed to companies and businesses, willing to link their CSR policy to awareness-raising on organ donation and transplantation, to Media wishing to procure accurate information free from all bias and fake news, to entities, organizations and associations that engage in social projects and would like their employees and members to get acquainted with the great concepts of solidarity and hope of organ and bone marrow donation.
Anyone representing the forenamed entities can register to attend on their preferred date. The form however can be filled-in only by executives who can organize actions, such as awareness raising for the collective participation of their employees/members, according to their role and capacity (e.g., Human Resources Manager, Marketing Manager, Association Chair etc.).
The participants will be certified by the Hellenic Transplant Organization and will be included in the official list of supporters and allies of this awareness campaign. Every year, a special event will be held to award all those who participated in the Organmeetings of the previous year. The award ceremony for the year 2023 will be held on 31 January 2024. The certification will be valid for 2 years.
All webinars will start at 15:00 and will last for about one and half hour. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS REGARDING THE PROGRAM
Is there any limit to the number of employees or members who can participate in the program?
No, there is no minimum or maximum limit of participations. For example, participation is open to all companies, either they employ 100 or 10 people and to all associations, regardless of whether they have 3 or 40 members. In any case however, the participation should be collective and not on an individual basis. Certifications will be valid and provided to all participants, no matter how minimum their participation is.
Are the webinars offered exclusively online or they can also take place at the premises of each body, company etc.?
They are offered only online. Our goal is the various bodies, associations, companies etc. to join their forces online creating a big chain of hope and solidarity.
Is it possible for a company or an entity to participate in the webinar for a second time, with different participants/members?
Of course, provided that the first webinar should be over before registering again.
