Take part online | Tuesday June 30, at 16:00 (UTC +3)
Take part in this webinar organized by the Onassis Foundation to familiarize yourself with useful tools created specially for teaching and mental health professionals working with children and teenagers living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
A pandemic gives rise to fears and concerns in everyone. It demands new patterns of behavior, and changes the ways in which we have learned to protect our own health and the health of those around us. How can we help children and teenagers on the broader autism spectrum cope with all these changes?
Take part in this webinar organized by the Onassis Foundation to familiarize yourself with useful tools created specially for teaching and mental health professionals working with children and teenagers living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Teaching materials, a video, social stories, live advice, and guidance from Specialist Education Teacher Katerina Drosinou will help you explain both what Covid-19 is, and how children and teenagers with ASD can stay healthy and safe both inside and outside their homes.
All these tools were created as part of an initiative titled “The World of Autism in the Midst of a Pandemic: Coronavirus and Autism Spectrum Disorder”, and are already freely available to everyone on our website – onassis.org.
