Society Uncensored
The podcast series
When it became hard to have discussions in person and in front of an audience due to the global pandemic, the Talks & Thoughts project created a series of digital discussions under the title “Society Uncensored.”
The people who, since July 2010, have come together and discussed, openly and unmediatedly, critical social and political issues of our time and place are the protagonists of the new digital discussion series organized by Stegi’s Talks & Thoughts. Representatives of organizations that are active in the field, members of the academic and the artistic community, as well as of the areas of activism, civil society, journalism, research, legal representation, and governance, people of various ethnicities and from various communities of Athens initiate in-depth and honest discussions that highlight important aspects of our social life, in an open digital platform of interaction and fruitful dialogue. The Society Uncensored series was created so that a plethora of “voices” can be heard, aiming at the dissemination of different – and often marginalized or controversial – views, the reflection and awareness-raising toward prominent social issues featured in current affairs, public debates in social and public media, and not least in our daily lives.
