She is currently the Head of the Dean's Office at the University of Ioannina's School of Fine Arts, where, in addition to her primary responsibilities, she actively participates in graduate networking and support and coordinates the school's social activities.Since 2018, she has been coordinating the voluntary recycling of electrical and electronic devices, as well as ink cartridges, at the University of Ioannina. At the same time, under the coordination of Associate Professor Konstantinos Gavrilakis, she has taken on the role of animator for the FONI student group (Student Youth Group of Ioannina) of the "Education for the Environment and Sustainability" laboratory at the Department of Primary Education. She volunteers at Ioannina's 5th Primary School (Valaneios School), where she plans experiential environmental activities for students and their families in collaboration with the school's teachers.

Aristea Kazantzi lives and works in Ioannina, and she has a nine-year-old daughter.
