Description

“Musical Sphere” is a sculptural composition made of polyester, aluminum, and silver paint. It is part of the broader “Musicales” series, which reflects Takis’ fascination with physics, analog technology, metaphysical philosophy, and sound waves. The artist seeks to capture the universe’s invisible forces through simple means, shaping an experience that evokes the “music of the spheres”—an idea linked to the theories of the ancient philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, as well as Zen Buddhist principles on the harmony of the cosmos. This work invites the viewer into a form of sonic meditation, connecting art with spirituality and inner exploration. Here, Takis examines the interaction between sound and form, creating a sculpture that appeals to both the senses and the mind.
