Liquid Aesthesia #3 – ABSENCE

For their present iteration of “Liquid Aesthesia”, Henrique Fernandes and Vincent Martial will focus on the idea of liquid (water) as absent, non-visible matter – as metaphor. In order to explore this notion of “absence”, the artists will create a path of sound objects/sculptures in a select area of the garden, seeking to activate the auditory memory of listeners and to propose a reflection on the importance of water.

Following on from the work’s previous iterations – “Liquid Aesthesia #1 (Mother)” and “#2 (Density)” – this new collaboration between Henrique Fernandes and Vincent Martial will act as a point of departure for such considerations as drought, poor water resource management, and climate change.
