Do you remember the first time you flew by plane? Light signals, check-in, gates, announcements, airport control, fasten your seatbelts, ready for take-off… Air travel can be highly stressful. How does a child or adolescent with autism deal with the different stimuli in an airport?
As part of the innovative program “Boarding Pass for Autism”, which is realized by the Onassis Foundation and is already on its third year, an educational workshop is being organized for the first time, addressed to mental health professionals and educators working with children and adolescents with ASD.Information on the purpose and methodology of the “Boarding Pass for Autism” educational program
