Tickets
Tickets are daily. They secure admission to the Onassis Stegi building and are valid for all events of that day, subject to availability.
Since the multiple stages and spaces’ capacities vary, admission to the events will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to the availability of each stage or space at the time of attendance.
Filming and photography
All events are filmed and photographed. By purchasing a ticket, the members of the audience consent to be filmed and photographed.
The video footage will remain in the Onassis Stegi's archive and will be available on Stegi's website, channel, and digital platforms for as long as they operate.
The second day of STEGI.RADIO Takeover 2025 celebrates the inexhaustible diversity and energy of modern electronic and instrumental sound.
The Onassis Stegi Main Stage plays host to the imposing presence of historical techno icon Robert Hood, a ‘chameleonic’ DJ set by Crystallmess, the avant-jazz performance of Irreversible Entanglements, the ‘trabetiko’ (trap + rebetiko) of Black Morris, aka Negros tou Moria, and the peculiar, danceable dub of Holy Tongue (Valentina Magaletti, Al Wootton, and Susumu Mukai).
On the Upper Stage, Larry Gus gives a piece of himself with his elaborate beats, Venus Volcanism introduces us to the ethereal union of traditional and modern electronic music, Grand River takes us on a journey with her imposing ambient music, and Invernomuto gives a performance that we will find hard to forget.
Meanwhile, a few floors down, at Onassis Stegi -1, the temperature rises dangerously with RHR’s sound from the favela, De Schuurman’s frenetic cross-genre approach, and A. Square’s distinctive bass and dub.
At the same time, Onassis Stegi +4 is transformed into an ideal chill-out spot with eclectic ambient selections by Dimitris Papaioannou (aka Method to the Madness), as well as a listening session with Invernomuto (Simone Bertuzzi and Simone Trabucchi) presenting their archival project “Black Med,” a collection of music and sounds from all over the Mediterranean.

Robert Hood
Robert Hood needs little introduction. Founding member of the legendary group Underground Resistance as a ‘Minister of Information’ with ‘Mad’ Mike Banks and Jeff Mills, his seminal works on Jeff Mills’ Axis and his very own M-Plant imprint paved the way for a wave of stripped-down dance floor minimalism that directed much of techno’s path throughout the late 90s.
Robert Hood makes minimal Detroit techno with an emphasis on soul and experimentation over flash and popularity. Having recorded for Metroplex, Jeff Mills’ Axis label, as well as Patrick Pulsinger’s Cheap label, Peacefrog, and more recently, Music Man, Hood also owns and operates the M-Plant imprint, through which he has released the bulk of his solo material. He has only released 2 CD mixes ever, one for the French label Logistic and a mix for the Fabric club mix series.
Crystallmess
Crystallmess is a French producer and artist whose music immediately stands out for its abrasive dancefloor feel. Her stunning debut EP, “Mere Noises,” got her noticed by Kode9, VTSS, and Split from the PAN label. A multifaceted performer and artist, she has been a curator for Boiler Room and Nova Mix, a “Vice” journalist, and an NTS resident.
Her DJ sets are uncompromising, ranging from hardcore rap to footwork. Crystallmess is regularly programmed in the best clubs and festivals in the world (Berghain, Dekmantel, Primavera, Terraforma, Dour, and CTM festival). Her devotion to club music and her multifaceted nature make Crystallmess an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.
Black Morris
NTM57, or Black Morris. is best described as one of the most recognized and influential Greek rappers to have emerged in recent years with an unparalleled flow. He is the pioneer of the music genre ‘Trabetika’ along with Odydoze and his prodigious beats. Black Morris’ music takes its cues from Europe and the US in equal measure, backed by a modern melting pot of intensely talented producers such as Evan SBK, Masla.G, L Professor, and artists from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Black Morris (whose real name is Kevin Ansong) is a well-regarded musician with tremendous convening power who is an influential voice in Greek civil society. He has been featured in interviews in local and international media, including “Libération,” Deutsche Welle, “Wire” magazine, “Vogue Greece,” and the BBC. Kevin worked closely with Grammy Award-winning American music producer Christopher King for his recent album “THRASOS” (loosely translated as ‘audacity’) powered by Onassis Stegi.
Holy Tongue
Holy Tongue is a collaboration between percussionist Valentina Magaletti, best known for her work with Vanishing Twin, Tomaga, UUUU, Raime, Nicolas Jaar, and Jandek, among many others, and producer Al Wootton, with the recent addition of multi-instrumentalist Susumu Mukai. Their first EP is a product of an improvised session in East London. Heavily influenced by dub reggae, the band brings a mutual appreciation for the experimental dub of On-U Sound, Muslimgauze, and post-punk bands such as Liquid Liquid and 23 Skidoo to the forefront of the sound.
Irreversible Entanglements
Irreversible Entanglements is a band that cultivates the liberation technologies of jazz and associated Black music―root, stem, and branch―into the future.
The California, Philadelphia, New York, and DC-based band is made up of five individuals whose uncompromising artistic visions have received wide acclaim. Poet Camae Ayewa, aka Moor Mother, is a legendarily prolific and globally leading light of Afrofuturist music, art, and community activism. Bassist Luke Stewart is deservedly his generation’s most in-demand musician on that instrument, boasting an encyclopedic musical knowledge of the music and a focused and thunderous intensity of playing.
Saxophonist Keir Neuringer matches prodigious avant-garde technique with fierce socio-political determination, while trumpeter Aquiles Navarro and drummer Tcheser Holmes bring uncontainable energy grounded in classic jazz and Latin and Afro-Caribbean streams.
Larry Gus
Panagiotis Melidis (b. 1982) is a Greek musician and producer who performs as Larry Gus since 2006. Originally a computer engineer with an MSc in Sound and Music Computing from MTG Barcelona, he has released albums for various labels since 2009. His work can be described as a constant (and failed) struggle against coincidences, and along with his ADHD live shows, he has been led to different kinds of collaborations with choreographers, filmmakers, architects, and playwrights. He lives and works in Athens, Greece.
Venus Volcanism
Venus Volcanism, aka Rena Rasouli, is a vocalist, musician, sound explorer, and music producer born and raised on the island of Crete, who has been living in Iceland’s northernmost town, Siglufjörður, for the past four years. She studied modern singing and attended traditional and polyphonic singing seminars. She is collaborating with various artists and bands from the Greek music scene (Coti K, DimDJ, Tripolar Cell). She is part of the Danish/Greek post-synth-punk duo V.V.I.A. along with In Atlas, a former member of Lepidoptera and The Man from Managra and founder of Arismari Trio.
Her music projects have touched upon different genres, maneuvering between ambient, traditional, polyphonic music, and field recordings to darkwave, post-punk, and techno. Her first EP, “Rizitiko,” was released by Weaponise Your Sound/Optimo. Her second EP, “Tissue,” was released by Submersion Records. She has released music in compilations and collaborated on projects that have released music by Women of V.V.I.A., Natty Wombat Records, Phormix, Meta Moto, Vinylograph, June Records, Echovolt, and Inner Ear.
Grand River (presents “The Fog” project)
Aimée Portioli is a Berlin-based Dutch-Italian composer and sound designer who records and performs as Grand River. Portioli makes experimental electronic music with rich emotional colors. Her work, influenced by minimalism and ambient music, is atmospheric yet rhythmically complex, incorporating a wide range of contemporary compositional and production techniques.
The name Grand River evokes nature, scale, and movement, all key forces in Portioli’s work. Her debut as Grand River was 2017’s “Crescente” EP, which was named by ‘XLR8R’ as one of the year’s best releases. She followed this with her debut album “Pineapple” (Spazio Disponibile, 2018), which garnered praise from ‘The Quietus,’ among others, while its follow-up, “Blink a Few Times to Clear Your Eyes” (Editions Mego, 2020), was positively received by ‘Resident Advisor’ and ‘The Verge,’ and was elected among the best albums of 2020 by ‘Inverted Audio.’ Her work has separately appeared on compilations by Ghostly International, Tresor, and Longform Editions.
In 2023, her third album, “All Above,” found its way back to shelves under Editions Mego. Then, in 2024, the new collaborative effort “In uno spazio immenso,” a joint venture with Abul Mogard, debuted on Caterina Barbieri’s ‘light-years’ label. In addition to her studio albums, Portioli also creates original sound art installations and has worked with 4D spatial sound on several occasions.
Andreas Palmer
Andreas Palmer has been particularly active in the electronic music scene of Athens due to his passion for connecting with like-minded people and throwing parties with his friends, as well as his constant urge to express his radiant energy through DJing.
Inspired by earthy and natural habitats, as well as contemporary urban environments, he is known for his passion for exploring the impact of sound in different surrounding spaces. His distinctive style merges quirky, trippy, euphoric house, techno, and bass music with bass-heavy rhythms, reflecting his deep love for low-end frequencies.
His background in architecture has also sparked his interest in organizing unique events and DIY parties in unusual places, offering people the chance to come together and find each other through customized and fun-driven experiences.
Andreas has been hosting “Cottagecore.fm” at STEGI.RADIO for three years, where he harmoniously blends dreamy ambient soundscapes with whatever music inspires him at the moment.
RHR
Influenced by Brazil’s funky old-school dance scene, MCs like Primo and Barriga, Proibidão, and national rap artists like Ndee Naldinho, 509-E, and Racionais MC’s, the music of RHR (aka Roniere Santos) propagates the memories of the favelas in which he was raised. His sound is his attitude.
De Schuurman
As the torchbearer of the bubbling community, De Schuurman is renowned for his deep roots in traditional bubbling music, showcased in his albums “Bubbling Inside” (2021) and “Bubbling Forever” (2024), both released on Nyege Nyege. While honoring tracks that celebrate the rich heritage of bubbling, De Schuurman consistently pushes boundaries, delivering a powerful evolution in sound and message. His unique crossover style, embraced globally, sets him apart.
De Schuurman’s strength and influence are evident from his invitations to perform at renowned festivals, such as Lowlands (NL), Roskilde (DK), Dour (FR), Primavera (BR, CL, and AR), Tremor Festival Azores (PT), Jova Beach Party (IT), Zwarte Cross (NL), Berghain (DE), and Wildeburg (NL). Additionally, his prestigious performances and solo sets at the Boiler Room further highlight his acclaim.
De Schuurman is the ideal addition to any lineup, capable of igniting any party with his distinctive blend of crossover music genres.
A.Square
A.Square, also known as Alexandros Martigopoulos, balances equally around the concept of creating space through architectural and musical means. He is a resident of STEGI.RADIO.
Runner
Connecting the dots is what drives Runner, pushing, playing, and promoting the low-end continuum from his 90s days in the UK all the way to today’s forward-bound landscape. As DJ, he is first and foremost known for his #Shuffle and #SubbedOut series, representing Swamp81 and the London-Athens connection while being a firm believer in dingy basements, real sound systems, and dancefloors.
Invernomuto
The artist duo Invernomutowas founded in 2003 by the Italian artists Simone Bertuzzi and Simone Trabucchi. The duo works in various media, such as moving image and sound, as well as sculpture, performance, and text. As part of their research projects, they document a wide variety of subcultures, particularly in the Mediterranean region. The duo recently released the LP “Vernascacadabra” (Xong Collection, 2023) and “Black Med,” an anthology of the sound archive of the same title, including texts and photos (Humboldt Books, 2022).
Dimitri Papaioannou (presents “Method to the Madness”)
Dimitri Papaioannou is an avid record collector, loves analog synthesizers, and was the artistic director of Synch Festival and Terra Furba, among many other activities around music.
