Tickets are daily. They secure admission to the Onassis Stegi building and are valid for all events of that day, subject to availability.

Since the multiple stages and spaces’ capacities vary, admission to the events will be on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to the availability of each stage or space at the time of attendance.

Filming and photography

All events are filmed and photographed. By purchasing a ticket, the members of the audience consent to be filmed and photographed.

The video footage will remain in the Onassis Stegi's archive and will be available on Stegi's website, channel, and digital platforms for as long as they operate.

The first day of STEGI.RADIO Takeover 2025 combines lively pop, electro, and synth sounds with live performances and DJ sets.

On the Onassis Stegi Main Stage, where the seats ‘disappear’ again as it transforms into a total concert hall, the high-voltage electro and techno sounds of Kittin and David Vunk meet the new wave energy of Curses, the uproarious psychedelic garage of Acid Baby Jesus, and the avant pop of Vassilina.

Head up to the Upper Stage to find The Boy’s left-field urban narratives and Kristof’s theatrical new-school pop unfolding alongside Malibu’s delicate ambient.

Six floors down, at Onassis Stegi -1, the beat goes harder with the Mediterranean new club sounds of Deena Abdelwahed and STILL, the global bass amalgam of Catu Diosis, the dirty, playful electro of DJ Problems, and the cerebral bass of j biloba.

At the same time, at Onassis Stegi +3, A@H2O creates an atmosphere of relaxation with a 5-hour set focused on dub, reggae, and calypso, and Yannis-Orestis Papadimitriou discusses with film and music curator Stoffel Debuysere, as part of the “Ways of Listening” project created by the latter to highlight sound as a tool for developing critical perspectives on documentaries.

Artists Bios

David Vunk

Born and raised in Rotterdam, Moustache Records label boss David Vunk is The Beast of the Harbor City with 25 years of DJ experience to draw on. From acid to techno, Italo disco to electro, and all the way back, he has energy to spare when in the booth and can contort a dancefloor and fire up a crowd in an instant. He makes thrilling transitions between records that are instinctive and intriguing, whether sizing up his sound for a big festival stage or honing in on more intimate dynamics for a small and sweaty basement.

Kittin

For decades, Kittin has pioneered electroclash―that grimy, irreverent collision of new wave and 90s techno. Singles “1982” and “Frank Sinatra” with The Hacker cemented her as an international DJ, both tracks heralded as anthems for the underground electroclash scene. Further notable collaborations run the gamut, including “Rippin’ Kittin’” with Golden Boy and “Silver Screen (Shower Scene)” with Felix Da Housecat. Through a relentless work ethic and a crystal pure love of music for music’s sake, Kittin, born Caroline Hervé, has solidified herself as a global luminary in the electronic community.

Curses

Romantic post-punk and body music from Berlin. Luca Venezia on vocals and guitar and Dame Bonnet on bass bring the Curses ‘live’ to the stage, threading the visceral connection between 80s-inspired dark, melancholic pop and the DIY energy of early EBM. With two full-length albums on Dischi Autunno, Curses have also released a limited-edition LP on Paris fashion brand Saint Laurent and music in video campaigns for Dior and Raf Simons/Calvin Klein. A new album is on the way, soaked in the signature Curses’ ghostly guitars and haunting vocals.

Acid Baby Jesus

Garage rock/psychedelic rock band formed in March 2009 in Athens, Greece, by young friends Noda Pappas, Otto Mentis (departed 2014), Markos Mazarakis, and Tili Stronis.

Acid Baby Jesus signed with Slovenly Recordings in 2010. In 2011–13, they toured North America with Hellshovel (featuring Jeff Clarke of Demon’s Claws). In 2014, they recruited Hellshovel’s Dox Grillo on guitar, and in 2015, they toured Australia, Japan, and Singapore.

They released their third LP on Fuzz Club Records in 2017, performing in Europe in 2017 and 2019.

VASSIŁINA

Greek avant-pop artist and producer VASSIŁINA, who calls both Athens and London home, has established herself as a prominent figure in the avant-pop scene of Athens. She is known for weaving sonic tales that balance pop aesthetics with dark electronic influences. Collaborating with artists such as Die Arkitekt, Bonebrokk, Kadebostany, TOTALWERK, and others, VASSIŁINA continues to push boundaries and redefine the avant-pop and dark-pop genres. Her live performances, characterized by dramatic polyphonic vocals and strong industrial beats, showcase her commanding stage presence.

The Boy

The Boy (b. Alexander Voulgaris, 1981, Athens) is a film director and musician. He has released more than 25 albums of music (“Please Make Me Dance,” “Kostoumaki,” “Iliotherapia,” “Etoimoi,” “Paradouleftra,” “Antilopi,” “Audrey,” and more) and has written music for film and theater. He has also appeared as an actor on stage and screen, has directed music videos, and, in recent years, has taught film at drama schools.

Kristof

Kristof was born and lives in Athens. He studied piano and acting at the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory. Combining avant-pop with contemporary classical, his performances have elements of German cabaret, with him singing and playing piano and synths as he narrates stories. He has been participating in the Athens music scene for a few years now, having released the records “Revealité” (2013), “Oracle” (2016), “Talkshow” (2020), and “Psychagogia” (2022). He is currently recording his new album, which will be released at the beginning of 2025.

Malibu

Malibu is a French electronic composer whose work sails between ambient and ethereal music. Forever inspired by soft reverbed vocals and melodic chord progressions, Malibu’s sound is immersive, like a sea of synthetic strings and choirs. Every month, she explores the same ideas in her radio show, “United In Flames,” with the help of various guests. “One Life” is Malibu’s first EP, released in November 2019 on both Joyful Noise Recordings and UNO NYC. It was followed by the EP “Palaces of Pity,” released in November 2022 on UNO NYC.

Deena Abdelwahed

A Tunisian producer and DJ, Deena Abdelwahed has released a number of albums on the InFiné label in Paris, including “Khonnar” (2018) and “Dhakar” (2020). Her musical explorations strive to reinterpret the diverse elements that comprise Arab music, drawing inspiration from both club music and the current experimental music scene. She has performed live and DJ sets at various festivals, including Sonar in Spain, Berlin’s CTM, Mexico City’s Mutek, and clubs such as Concrete Paris, Berlin’s Berghain, and Moscow’s Mutabor.

Catu Diosis

Catu Diosis is a free-spirited, energetic, forward-moving Ugandan producer, rapper, and DJ. Her music is flavorful, highly danceable, and always an Afrocentric blend of global bass music, taking you from Luanda to Sāo Paulo and from Kampala to Bamako in a second.

Catu has played countless festivals, clubs, and stages globally, including the CTM festival in Panorama Bar Berlin, Fusion festival, Eurockéennes, Kaleidoscope in Kenya, Boiler Room x Nyege Nyege, Locus festival in Italy, Circulart in Colombia, and many more.

Alongside R3ign Drops, Catu is co-founder of Dope Gal, a platform for women to collaborate through creative projects.

STILL

Shapeshifting through his vernacular worlds of sound and imagery, Milan-based artist and musician STILL (Simone Trabucchi) is defined by a unique, nomadic approach in his practice. Half of the duo Invernomuto, Trabucchi is also the founder of Hundebiss Records. STILL’s personal take on a kind of ‘digital dancehall’ defined the sound of his debut album, “I,” released by PAN in 2017. Recently, he published “KIKOMMANDO,” a book, video series, and mixtape on Nyege Nyege’s Hakuna Kulala and PAN. Since last year, he has been recording new music at the Auditorium Novecento in Napoli, one of the most ancient recording studios in Europe.

DJ Problems

DJ Problems, aka Bekha Mujiri, is a DJ and producer born in Georgia (GE) and raised in Greece. He started playing electronic music in 2008 and has been active in the Athenian techno scene since 2010. His music focuses on electro, techno, and bass, mixed with various other genres. He has released music on labels such as Magdalena’s Apathy, Hypress Records, Vanila Records, and Low Income $quad. In 2022, he founded his own label, Street Fighter Honda, and is the co-founder of Athens-based online radio station Fade Radio.

j biloba

j biloba is an Athens-based DJ known for her focus on bass-heavy sounds, broken beats, and deeper shades of techno. Her story-driven sets are marked by evolving intensities, intricate rhythms, and otherworldly ambiances. She is a resident DJ at Smut Athens and curates the bimonthly show “hadal zone” on STEGI.RADIO.

A@H20

A@H20, aka Herden Lollia, is a self-taught musician, DJ, and chiropractor of Zen Shiatsu based in Karystos, Evia. He was a founding member of the Greek post-punk groups Ends with the Sea (1983–84) and Winter Watercolors (1984–88) as a guitarist, singer, lyricist, and composer. In 2016, he released an album of his two groups entitled “Years 1984–1988” by Geheimnis Records. He has also composed scores for contemporary dance performances, video art, and short films. A pioneer of the local freestyle DJ scene, A@H2O started DJing in 1984 and continues to this day. He was a member of some of the most productive underground parties during the 00s (Muzak7, ZuLuTeK, What! Street Party, Bass Class). Active radio producer at Paranoise Radio and Muzak7 Web Radio, he writes extensively in the local music press. He was formerly a radio producer on Radiobubble, Channel 15, and Free FM.
