An interactive communications satellite workshop which introduces participants to man-made satellites, their orbits, core functions and the techniques used to monitor them.

The participants will built reception antennae and automated signal reception stations, and use them to record signals from man-made satellites.

There will also be a presentation on the SatNOGS global satellite communications network and the work of the Libre Space Foundation in the sphere of open-source and free space technologies.

The Libre Space Foundation is a non-profit organization engaged in the development of free and open-source space technologies.
