Introduction

The teenagers go out in the city, get inspired by its routes and map it using their senses as a compass.

Is a map only streets and squares? Of course not.

It is our experiences, the lives, emotions and thoughts of those living in a place. Thus, using their senses and especially smell as a compass, the teenagers will go out in the city for a walk, with no other purpose than to collect experiences, just like the flaneurs, the walkers, the explorers of the city.

With the help of the notes that they will keep along the way and of the materials they will collect in their urban tours, they will make their own texts under the guidance of the facilitators, which will then take shape and form.

They will become visual poetry artworks, thus suggesting new alternative maps of the city.
