What can result when it is film’s turn to be inspired by music?

In the context of its efforts to stimulate primary creativity and interaction between two different art-forms -music and cinema- the Hellenic Project will be staging a short-film competition, inviting works on the theme of “Greek song: Music by Greek composers”.

The subject-matter may be fixed, but it is also potentially wide-ranging; we hope Greek film-makers will be spurred on to create works inspired by Greek song or the impact song can have on our lives.
