Program

12:00 | “A Vision for Tomorrow’s Agriculture”: Α workshop by Marios Desillas

The workshop will take place around the Pyramid and is an introductory workshop to biodynamic farming, a process that respects the environment and our ecosystems whilst regenerating our earth.
Marios Desillas from Scholio Edafous studied at the Agricultural University of Athens. For the last 30 years he has been dedicated to bringing agriculture closer to natural processes, advising and teaching those whose heart beats in a similar rhythm.

Location: Pyramid | Duration: 60 minutes

13:00 | “Food is Energy”: Α tour by Marjetica Potrč and Valentina Karga

A pyramidal greenhouse-shadehouse, promoting the co-existence and mutual support between plants in food forest gardening, and raising questions about large-scale industrial agriculture.
Berlin-based Valentina Karga’s artistic practice draws from conceptual art, architecture and socially engaged practice. Marjetica Potrč is a Ljubljana and Berlin-based artist and architect whose work includes drawing, architecture, and public art projects.

Location: Pyramid | Duration: 30 minutes

14:00 | “Soul Food”: Α Lenten meal by Troō Food Liberation, with bread from Epirus by Betty’s Bakery

Monastic recipes creating a nutritious communion for the last days of Lent.

Troō Food Liberation is a collective that creates “Real Food”. The group’s key manifesto is that unprocessed foods from sustainable harvesting, contributes towards a positive evolution of our sociopolitical, ecological, and collective consciousness, offering a tangible “way out” for the future. Betty’s Bakery is a bio-certified artisanal bakery working exclusively with sourdough and stone milled organic flour. It supports local communities, respects the environment and innovates in its recipes and work ethic.
