18:00 | “Practicing Pleasure Where Possible, an Act”: Α event by Paki Vlassopoulou

An intimate musical improvisation with Dimosthenis Bogiatzis, with bagpipes that
activate elements of the installation.Ceramic sculptures are transformed into percussion instruments and accompany the bagpipe players, whilst the sculptures function as seating arrangements for both musicians and guests. Musicians, friends and passersby are all welcome to join in.

19:00 | “Sustainable Cities are Productive, Inclusive Cities”: Α lecture by Dimitri Zenghelis

Cities like Athens can become more inclusive, livable and sustainable if they embrace the opportunities from innovation to address global urban resource and climate challenges.

Dimitri Zenghelis is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute at the LSE where from 2013 to 2017 he was Head of Climate Policy. In 2014 he was Acting Chief Economist for the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate. Before working on climate change, Dimitri was at HM Treasury as Head of Economic Forecasting where he provided regular briefings to the Chancellor Gordon Brown and Prime Minister Tony Blair.

20:00 | “Think Global Eat Local”: Α dinner by Troō Food Liberation και carob bread by Betty’s Bakery

Α dinner in the vineyard, with food sourced in the vicinity of the University – travelling only a short distance to your plate.

Troō Food Liberation is a collective that creates “Real Food”. The group’s key manifesto is that unprocessed foods from sustainable harvesting, contributes towards a positive evolution of our sociopolitical, ecological, and collective consciousness, offering a tangible “way out” for the future.
Betty’s Bakery is a bio-certified artisanal bakery working exclusively with sourdough and stone milled organic flour. It supports local communities, respects the environment and innovates in its recipes and work ethic.

21:30 | “Ecodrome”: Curated by Céline Condorelli and Filipa Ramos

Ecodrome is a film programme spread out across five screening sessions which combine documentaries, artists’ films and feature-length films that deal with the consequences of living in a dangerously warmer world for people, animals and landscape alike.
Hosted in Cinema Zagara, designed by Céline Condorelli, as a set of mini-architectural structures that pay tribute to Jantar Mantar, an astronomic observatory located in Delhi, India.

This series of films is dedicated to AIR:
- Angela Melitopoulos: An expanded cinema screening performance about her cartographic art works “Crossings” (2017), “Corridor X” (2006) and from her video-essay “Passing Drama” (1999)
- “Inhabitants”, Artavazd Peleshian, 1970, Armenia, 35 mm transferred to digital video, 9 min.

Introduction & discussion with the artists Céline Condorelli & Angela Melitopoulos.
